The Herkimer High School Student Council and National Honor Society will be holding their annual Holiday Shoebox Project again this winter. Through their project, they provide shoeboxes filled with gifts and necessities to many students in grades 9-12 who may need some extra holiday cheer! Compassion Coalition wanted to be able to help with such a great program so much that we donated 200 pairs of socks along with a cartful of boxes that they can use to fill up!

At Compassion Coalition, it is our mission to serve the underprivileged, the needy, the poor, the afflicted and those lacking opportunity and basic life necessities such as affordable food, clothing, housing, transportation, employment and finances. We will work locally, regionally, nationally and globally as needed to accomplish our mission with partners in the public, private, and faith-based organizational communities.
