On August 12, Bellamy Elementary School in Rome hosted an Ice Cream Social Drive By to celebrate students with special needs finishing out the year. Families drove up around the circle at the school as teachers and staff gave out ice cream sundaes, compliments of Stewart’s Shops.
Students presented teachers with their colorful art projects and were also given a book bag, compliments of Compassion Coalition.
The culminating art project will be displayed at the district office with a motto, “Learning apart, Growing Together.” Bellamy Art Teacher, Katie Thomas volunteered her time to work on the art project.
We are so grateful that we were able to collaborate with others to bring joy to our community!
