Here’s an incredible thank you note we just received from a teacher who recently came to shop at Equipped to Teach:
I wanted to personally thank you for all of the amazing books and other supplies I received. I left with six boxes filled to the brim. I only have a handful of novels in my classroom, that have not been checked out by students. There are over a hundred in the hands of kids! It is such fun to see the excitement of the students, when they are choosing brand new books to take home and read. While I buy books routinely for my classroom, this was so far above and beyond anything I could have afforded to do. There is even a wait list for some of the titles, with kids waiting for other kids to return them so that they can have a turn. Every pair of gloves, coloring book, and miscellaneous supply has found a home with a student. I used the coloring books as prizes for a writing contest I held- it injected some much needed fun and levity into the school day. I felt gluttonous taking so many supplies novels and supplies, and was shocked at how quickly it was dispersed, and I was left with a few books and post it notes 🙂 I could not be more thankful for your generosity.
